Came Up On A Record was a mixtape project that murj carefully constructed during the last months of 2003. The idea behind it was using records that had been "borrowed" from various sources such as other DJs, radio stations and even record stores. Nearly every track is a remix constructed by merging an accapella with a new original instrumental. This mix also features a never released instrumental track by Equalibrum who has lately seen a lot of buzz. This mix is a timeless classic of deep cut hip-hop.
